What Is The Merckx Project?

The Merckx Project is my endeavor as a Type 1 Diabetic to ride the "Hour Record," the record for the longest distance ridden in one hour on a bicycle. I am attempting this ride to experience the hour record and as a way to serve as motivation to fellow diabetics to pursue a healthy lifestyle.
